Black Hawaiian salt with mill
Like sparkling crystals: This black Hawaiian salt is a genuine natural product. It is extracted from filtered Pacific water in the salt marshes of the central Hawaiian island of Molokai, with the fine salt crystals left behind by the evaporation of the seawater. It gets its black, very exclusive color from pure activated carbon from coconut shells, which is added during salt processing. It is known to have an antioxidant and digestive effect.
The deep black color looks particularly elegant. A great contrast as a finishing salt or table salt (BBQ), for example on eggs, risotto, seafood, scallops and oysters. Also delicious for cooked vegetables and cold dishes such as salads.
