Roasted Pistachio Oil 250 ml

Pistachio oil comes from France and is made from 100% pistachio nuts. This oil can be heated up to a maximum of 160°C. Excessive heating may affect the aroma.

The full pistachio flavor harmonizes perfectly with balsamic vinegar, sherry vinegar, red wine or (Dragon) white wine vinegar. Excellent for preparing a sophisticated salad vinaigrette. To preserve the flavor, it is best added to the dish at the very end. Delicious with grilled meat or fish, beef bourguignon, pasta with cheese or just to dip bread in. Also very suitable for baking cakes and pastries, especially in combination with apples and pears.

This pistachio oil is produced using a 150-year-old traditional French method. After harvesting, the nuts are washed, sorted, dried in the sun for several days and stored for further drying. They are then ground and slowly roasted in cast iron kettles. The resulting paste is cold pressed in a hydraulic press and, after mechanical suction, is lightly filtered and bottled. This production method ensures the intense pistachio taste.
