Extra Vierge White Truffle Olive Oil comes from the western area of Liguria, Italy and is made from Leccino, Frantoio, Peranzana and Taggiasca olives. The oil is distinguished by the ethereal white truffle smell and taste, which allows you to transform the simplest dishes into something special . Can only be used cold to prepare dishes and tastes wonderful in salads, carpaccio with pine nuts, eggs, pasta, macaroni and cheese, risotto and lavender vinegar. The oil can be combined well with sherry vinegar, Balsamico di Modena IGP and sherry vinegar. A dressing tip: 1/3 lavender vinegar - 2/3 olive oil with white truffle.
The olives are harvested between October and January and then processed within a few hours using the cold pressing method. By pressing the olives in this traditional way, the taste is optimally preserved and an olive oil of high quality and a low acidity (<0.3%) is produced.
The olive oil is produced by a family business in a small village in Liguria that won the Great Taste Gold Award 2012 with its olive oil with white truffle.
