Mom's Sauce 330 g

This tomato sauce is prepared just like Sicilian mothers have been making it for decades: with a lot of patience and love. The sauce is also completely pure, made from cherry tomatoes without any additives. Right after World War II, two Sicilian grandmothers made this tomato sauce and bottled it in the characteristic 33 cl bottles to store it for the winter. Since then, this Salsa della Mamma has become increasingly popular. To this day, it is still slowly cooked in small batches to preserve the original flavor of the tomato sauce as much as possible.

A quick warming in a pot or microwave is all it takes. Use the sauce as a pasta sauce, as a red sauce for various dishes, or simply to dip bread in. Buon appetito!
