Salsa della Mamma 330 g

This tomato sauce has been prepared the way Sicilian moms have been doing it for decades: with a lot of patience and love. In addition, the sauce is completely pure, based on cherry tomatoes, without any other additives. Immediately after the Second World War, two Sicilian grandmothers made this tomato sauce and filled it into the characteristic 33 cl bottles to store them for the winter. Since then, this Salsa della Mamma has become increasingly popular. To this day it is still cooked slowly in small quantities in order to preserve as much of the original taste of the tomato sauce.

A brief warming up in a pot or in the microwave is sufficient. Use the sauce as a pasta sauce, as a red sauce for a variety of dishes or simply to dip bread in it. Buon appetito!
